Brentwood to Green Legacy, step by step

We're 4.2 miles from Brentwood. Most people make it in 11–19 minutes. Head west and you'll hit 14th Street NW.

The short version of Brentwood: small residential town bordering DC's Brookland, quick access to Rhode Island Avenue. There's no rail connection worth the hassle. Drive, and you'll find parking on the block.

Heads up: no delivery into Maryland. The license doesn't allow it. Pickup does work, and it saves you standing at the counter while we bag things. Whatever you buy stays in the District; carrying it across the line is a federal offense.

Your first visit from Brentwood

If you've not been in before, allow an extra few minutes. There's an ID check, then someone will walk the shelves with you for as long as you want.

At this distance, dodge the 4-to-7 crawl on 14th if you can. Doors are open 11 AM to 8 PM every day. Early afternoon midweek is when you'll get the most attention.
