What’s on
Green Legacy events on 14th Street.
We are not a venue and we do not sell tickets. What we do run is simpler: help getting registered, proper explanations when the shop is quiet, and a heads-up when something good lands.
What runs at Green Legacy events
None of this needs booking. Turn up during opening hours.
- Any time we are open New patient walk-through Bring your ID and phone and we will do the D.C. self-certification with you at the counter. Takes a few minutes. No purchase expected, and you can leave without buying anything.
- Weekday afternoons, informally Terpene talks Quiet hours are when staff have time to explain things. If you want to understand why two products with the same THC number feel different, come before three on a weekday and ask.
- Whenever a batch lands New drop days Stock arrives through the week rather than on a schedule. Ask what came in recently — the better flower does not sit on the shelf long.
- Daily, 11 AM–8 PM Neighborhood hours We are a shop on 14th Street before we are anything else. People come in to ask questions, use the bathroom, or say hello. That is fine.
Why we keep Green Legacy events low-key
Plenty of dispensaries run launch nights and branded pop-ups. We have found the thing people want is quieter: twenty unhurried minutes with someone who knows the shelf, at a time when the shop is not three deep at the counter.
So rather than putting on an event and asking you to show up for it, we keep weekday afternoons deliberately calm. Come then and you will get a real conversation. That is worth more than a goodie bag.
Getting registered, in person
The most useful thing we do regularly is sit with people and finish the D.C. registration. It is free, it is a self-certification, and it takes about two minutes on the ABCA portal. Plenty of people start it, hit a question they are unsure about, and give up. Bring your phone and we will finish it. Full detail on the registration page.
Learning what you are buying
The other regular thing is product education. THC percentage is a poor predictor of how something feels, and most people have never had that explained to them. Our guides cover it in writing, and shop by feel puts it into practice on the menu.
Community
We are on 14th Street NW, in a residential stretch, and we behave like it. If you are running something locally and want a shop involved, call and ask. We would rather do one useful thing nearby than sponsor something generic.
Questions about Green Legacy events
Do you host Green Legacy events in store?
We run informal things rather than ticketed events: new-patient walk-throughs, product education when the shop is quiet, and drop days when fresh stock lands. Call ahead and we will tell you what is on this week.
Can I book a private consultation?
There is nothing to book. Walk in during opening hours and ask for help. Weekday afternoons are quietest if you want unhurried time with someone.
Do I need a card to attend?
Not to come in and ask questions or get help registering. You do need a valid D.C. medical registration and ID to buy anything.
Do you do community or charity events?
We are a neighborhood shop and we do take part in things locally. Ring (202) 506-5449 if you are organizing something and want to talk.
How do I hear about what is coming up?
Phone is the most reliable — the people answering are standing in the shop. Stock and plans change faster than any page can keep up with.
