Distance from Forest Hills: 1.5 miles. Time: roughly 5–10 minutes, traffic depending. If Connecticut Avenue NW is your reference point, we're east of that.

The short version of Forest Hills: secluded, wooded, upscale residential enclave with winding roads and large lots. Plenty of people come by Metro. Van Ness-UDC Metro (Red Line, nearby) is the one you want.
