A better question
Find your lane.
Most people walk in asking about strain names. That is the hardest possible way to choose. Shop cannabis by feel instead — tell us how you want to feel and the shelf narrows down fast. Lanes describe what customers report, not medical outcomes; effects vary by person, dose and product.

Why effect beats strain name
Strain naming is not regulated. Two growers can sell the same name with different cannabinoid and terpene content, and the indica-versus-sativa shorthand is a much blunter predictor than most people expect. That is why we would rather you shop cannabis by feel.
What shapes the experience is the interaction between cannabinoids and terpenes — the entourage effect — plus dose, format and your own tolerance. Our guides go into terpenes and how to read a certificate of analysis if you want the detail.
If you are new, start here
- Start with the lowest dose that seems plausible, then wait.
- Edibles can take two hours. Do not re-dose because nothing happened in twenty minutes.
- Inhaled products come on in minutes, which makes them much easier to control.
- Say it is your first time — it changes what we recommend, and nobody will make it weird.
Once you know your lane, same-day delivery across D.C. means you never have to guess twice. Not registered yet? The registration page takes about two minutes.
Questions about shopping by feel
Why shop cannabis by feel instead of by strain?
Strain names are not standardized. The same name from two growers can have different chemistry, and the indica/sativa split predicts much less than people assume. Starting from the effect you want gets you to the right shelf faster.
What determines how something feels?
The combination of cannabinoid content and terpene profile, plus dose, format and your own tolerance. THC percentage alone is a poor predictor — a lower-THC product with the right terpenes often suits better.
I am completely new. Where should I start?
Balanced or Happy, at the lowest dose that seems plausible, and wait. Inhaled products come on within minutes so they are easier to control; edibles can take two hours, so do not re-dose early.
Can staff help me choose?
That is the main thing we are here for. Describe your evening rather than asking for a strain, and we will narrow it to two or three options. Nobody here works on commission.
