Vienna to Green Legacy, step by step

We're 12.8 miles from Vienna. Most people make it in 35–59 minutes. Head east and you'll hit 14th Street NW.

People describe Vienna as small-town charm with a walkable downtown, farmer's market, suburban comfort. If the car's not an option, start at Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro (Orange Line) and finish the last stretch by bus.

Delivery stops at the District line, so Vienna is out of range for that. Pickup solves it. Order on the menu, come when it suits you, skip the line at the counter. Whatever you buy stays in the District; carrying it across the line is a federal offense.

Your first visit from Vienna

If you've not been in before, allow an extra few minutes. There's an ID check, then someone will walk the shelves with you for as long as you want.

When to come

From out that far, order ahead. Saves a wasted trip if the thing you wanted just sold out. Every day, 11 AM to 8 PM. Weekends get busy from about two onwards.
