Where 91 Octane comes from
91 Octane is a gassy AltSol hybrid. The grower has not published the cross; the name is a nod to the Chemdog 91 line and the fuel smell backs that up.

Limonene, caryophyllene and humulene. That's the top three in the 91 Octane strain, inside a 2.99% terpene total, and limonene alone is 1.12%.
- Limonene 1.12% Smells like: citrus, lemon, herbal Same terpene as lemon rind. When it sits near the top of the sheet the aroma is sharp and clean rather than sweet.
- Beta Caryophyllene 0.82% Smells like: sharp, spice, sweet, wood Caryophyllene is the terpene researchers single out most often, because it behaves a little differently from the rest. On the nose it is pepper and clove.
- Humulene 0.23% Smells like: herbal, spice, woody, earthy Humulene is the hoppy, woody note. It is the same compound that gives beer its bitterness.
