Where Spritzer comes from

District Cannabis hasn't published the cross behind Spritzer, and we won't guess. What we can vouch for is the lab sheet on this page and the way it smokes, which staff have tried.

District Cannabis is one of the original D.C. cultivators. Their extracts, the liquid diamonds and sauce carts and the cured sugars, are where a lot of our concentrate shelf comes from. More on the grower at districtcannabis.com.

When to use it

No strong rule. A hybrid like this sits in the middle, so the dose decides whether it's a daytime or evening strain.

Lab sheet

What's on the lab sheet

In the Spritzer strain beta myrcene leads at 0.97%, out of 2.14% total terpenes. Myrcene, caryophyllene and humulene make up most of what you'll smell.

  • Beta Myrcene 0.97% Smells like: earthy, musk, cloves Mango, hops and thyme all carry myrcene. In flower it reads as that damp, musky smell you get when you first open the jar.
  • Beta Caryophyllene 0.67% Smells like: sharp, spice, sweet, wood Beta-caryophyllene is the peppery one. It is also found in black pepper and cloves, and it gives a lot of gas strains their bite.
  • Humulene 0.19% Smells like: herbal, spice, woody, earthy Humulene is the hoppy, woody note. It is the same compound that gives beer its bitterness.
  • Linalool 0.14% Smells like: floral, herbal, lavender Linalool is subtle in most flower, but where it climbs the sheet the strain tends to read as gentle rather than racy.
  • Nerolidol 0.07% Smells like: floral, sweet, woody You will not smell nerolidol on its own, but it adds a soft, bark-like layer under the louder terpenes.

Terpene percentages are from the current batch's certificate of analysis. Our guides explain how to read one and why the total matters more than the THC.
