The feel of Blue Dream
Effects aren't rated for this batch of the Blue Dream strain. Ask at the counter; someone will have tried it. Failing that, the terpenes tell most of the story.
Where Blue Dream comes from
Blue Dream is Blueberry crossed with Haze. It came out of California in the early 2000s and became the best-selling strain in the country for a stretch because it does a bit of everything without doing too much of anything.
Dompen makes the slim disposable vapes on the counter. Simple hardware, no buttons, and the strain-named ones carry a real terpene profile rather than a flavor syrup. More on the grower at dompen.co.
When to use it
Use it in the day. It's bright enough that it can keep some people up if they take it late.
A lot of Georgetown customers order the Blue Dream strain for delivery; it's a short run from the shop. If you're nearby, our dispensary near Georgetown page has the route and the delivery answer.

Blue Dream strain terpenes and aroma
Total terpenes in the Blue Dream strain come in at 3.38%. The profile is myrcene, caryophyllene and humulene, in that order, with beta myrcene doing the heavy lifting at 0.98%.
- Beta Myrcene 0.98% Smells like: earthy, musk, cloves Myrcene is the most common terpene in cannabis and the one people associate with a heavier, couch-leaning feel.
- Beta Caryophyllene 0.79% Smells like: sharp, spice, sweet, wood That spicy, almost woody edge behind the fuel smell is usually caryophyllene.
- Humulene 0.64% Smells like: herbal, spice, woody, earthy If a strain smells a bit like a pine forest floor, humulene is doing some of that work.
- Alpha Pinene 0.55% Smells like: pine Pinene smells like pine trees, which is not a coincidence: it is the most common terpene in nature. People often describe pinene-forward strains as clearer-headed.
- Linalool 0.31% Smells like: floral, herbal, lavender Linalool is subtle in most flower, but where it climbs the sheet the strain tends to read as gentle rather than racy.
Terpene percentages are from the current batch's certificate of analysis. Our guides explain how to read one and why the total matters more than the THC.

First time with Blue Dream?
73.7% looks huge next to flower, but it's normal for an extract. The way to dose a cart is by draw length, not by the number on the box.
Bring ID and your D.C. patient registration. If you don't have the registration yet it takes about two minutes on the ABCA site and costs nothing.
The registration lives on the ABCA patient portal, and our registration guide walks through it screen by screen. Delivery details, minimums and the D.C.-only rule are on the delivery page.
